WHITE GLOVE SERVICE DETAILS

Due to the size, weight and fragility of some items, this service is necessary for the safe and specialized handling of your purchase. Products in-need of this specialized service are noted in their descriptions. 

  • Delivery service time is 8AM to 6PM (your local time)
  • Truck with liftgate
  • Room specific inside delivery
  • 2 to 3 person staff with 30 to 45 minutes on site
  • Delivery service time is 8AM to 6PM (your local time)
  • 2 flights of stairs included
  • Unpackaging of shipment and removal of packaging materials
  • Light assembly is included using an adjustable wrench & screwdriver (only non-electrical tools are used)

WHITE GLOVE SERVICE FEES

White Glove Service Fee: $629.00, in addition to the standard base fee for shipping (this shipping is required to send the item(s) to the White Glove Service Provider). The base fee includes shipping and handling. 

PLEASE NOTE: Ancillary charges may apply for locations deemed restrictive or remote access areas by our white glove providers. Recipient’s destination issues undisclosed prior to delivery may receive additional fees. For example: More than the included number of stair flights, building’s elevator will not accommodate the shipment size. These fees are accessed onsite and charged to the customer. A customer care representative will contact you of additional charges before shipping for approval.

We have adopted a few shipping methods bringing you merchandise that lowers consumer costs and the carbon footprint of delivery. We have partnered with wonderful furniture, home decor and larger item vendors delivering some merchandise directly to your location. By doing so, we have eliminated additional transportation carbon footprint and in some cases even lowered or eliminated your delivery costs. In addition to this we stock various items at our location here outside of Philadelphia and a midwest distribution center.

Depending on the item it may ship by three different methods.

  • Shipping from our location in Philadelphia
  • Shipping directly from our vendor
  • Shipping from a distribution center

Yes, we hold monthly classes online via zoom. You can view our upcoming class schedule by clicking here. Products for class (if needed) are shipped to the attendees. Local in-person classes will be scheduled again once limitations due to Covid-19 have subsided.
