Christmas Morning Breakfast

Holiday Morning Cheer
At my family’s home we celebrate the eve before with a large dinner and then again on Christmas Day evening. So breakfast on Christmas morning is a sweet and simple spread of delicious items. It normally consists of Panettone (a rather tall, sweet airy bread-like cake confection containing dried fruits), dry fruits, cookies and a bit of Torrone (an airy nougat candy made with honey and nuts).
Of course there is coffee or espresso and conversations of the Christmas Eve dinner at my Aunt’s house the evening before.
But have a peak into at our simple Christmas breakfast.

This is the sort of thing I wish more people would embrace instead of rushing to get back out into restaurants right now. Not that restaurant service and food isn’t great, but while our nation is trying to get back on its feet, creating beautiful environments at home is such a fun thing to do and a creative outlet that could help a lot of people realize their potential. With a little forethought and planning, at-home meals could be restaurant quality at every turn. Even if it’s just a once-a-week thing…something to make life in lockdown special. This is gorgeous, as are all the posts you’ve put up that I’ve been able to see thus far. You are quite gifted!
